Order Processing

  • Orders are processed during normal business days, Monday through Friday.
  • Processing times may vary depending on product availability, order size, and destination.
  • Most in-stock orders are prepared within 1–5 business days.
  • Custom, oversized, special-order, or freight items may require additional processing time.

Customers will receive order confirmation and shipping updates by email whenever available.


Shipping Methods

We work with trusted freight carriers, parcel services, and logistics providers to deliver products safely and efficiently.

Shipping methods may include:

Freight and Large Item Deliveries

Many products sold by Laminates and Things are oversized, fragile, or palletized materials requiring freight delivery.

For freight shipments:

  • customers must inspect all items upon delivery;
  • any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing;
  • failure to report visible freight damage at delivery may affect claims eligibility.

If damage is discovered after delivery, customers should contact us immediately.


Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • destination,
  • product dimensions,
  • weight,
  • freight classification,
  • and carrier rates.

Shipping charges are displayed during checkout or quoted separately for freight orders.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • residential deliveries,
  • liftgate service,
  • limited access locations,
  • re-delivery attempts,
  • or expedited shipping requests.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary due to:

  • carrier delays,

Laminates and Things is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.


Order Inspection

Customers are responsible for inspecting all shipments immediately upon receipt.

If products arrive damaged or incomplete:

  1. note the issue with the carrier at delivery;
  2. take photographs of packaging and products;
  3. contact Laminates and Things within 48 hours of delivery.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Laminates and Things is not responsible for:

  • delays,
  • lost shipments,
  • or additional charges resulting from incorrect addresses or contact information.

Pickup Orders

Customers selecting local pickup will be notified when their order is ready.

Valid identification may be required at pickup.


International Orders

International shipments may be subject to:

  • customs duties,
  • import taxes,
  • brokerage fees,
  • and local regulations.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
